Took place in the evening of November 10, the American Hotel
Owners Charitable Association held its annual Evening Gala and
Awards Ceremony at Terrace on the Park in Queens.
More than 600 guests from hotel and real estate industries have
attended.
Founded in 2015
and under the leadership of real estate tycoon,
John Lam,
the American Hotel Owners Charitable Association
has integrated more than 100 hotel resources in just a few years,
with the total assets of reaching tens of billions of dollars,
building the association into the largest and the most powerful
Chinese-funded association in the United States.
Not only does association powerfully enhance the reputation of
the Chinese-American hospitality industry, it also expands the
influence of Chinese-American entrepreneurs.
This year,
Asia-Pacific Hotel Association,
China Hotel Industry Celebrity Club
as well as thousands of branded hotel chains have also joined
the American Hotel Owners Charitable Association
to explore the development of US-China hotel cooperation.
Many of them are listed companies:
Jinjiang Group,
which has four listed companies and ranks second among the top 225
hotels in the world;
FOLIDAY,
ranked 459 in the 2021 Forbes Global 2000 Listed Companies,
whose total assets is of nearly $120 billion;
DOSSEN
has 3,500 hotels and is among the top 15 global hotel
groups;
and
Minyoun Group,
which is among the top 60 global hotel groups in China.
Based in the U.S., the American Hotel Owners Charitable Association
will continue to strengthen connections with prestigious hotel
groups in mainland China, assist Chinese companies to expand
their business overseas, and improve the safety, validity, and
sustainability of their investments
in the U.S.
The American Hotel Owners Charitable Association
is also supported by five major banks:
Doral Bank,
Chase Bank,
East West Bank,
Shanghai Commercial Bank,
and
Flushing Bank.
Each bank has appointed a representative to serve on the Board
of Directors and partnered with the association to encourage and
escort our development of our five major industries.
By allying with
President Andy Jiang’s
Chinese American Construction Professionals’
chapters in New York, California, Washington D.C., New Jersey,
Chicago, Houston, and Philadelphia, the association has been
able
to grow more vigorously.
With the assistance of Vice Presidents
William Su,
Derek Law,
Bentley Zhao,
and
Daniel Chen,
the American Hotel Owners Charitable Association
would expand its business to five major areas:
hotel, real estate, finance, construction,
and restaurant industries.
At the gala,
former Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz,
community leader Steven W. Wong,
business leader Jason Lam,
social activist Charles P. Wang,
as well as outstanding entrepreneurs
Sanjay Bedi and Alex Li
are presented with Contribution Awards. Business leader
Jeffrey Lam
is presented with the President’s Volunteer Service Award.

emphasizes that the American Hotel Owners Charitable Association
strives to build a platform where the members are empowered to
solve problems, exchange experiences, unite strengths,
and share resources.
