Nangxia, invites wine enthusiasts and tourists to visit in
2024
On December 10th, the Ningxia Wine Culture and Tourism
Promotion event was held at Virgin Hotel in New York, USA.
Together with a splendid landscape and rich culture, wine
from the East Foothill of Helan Mountain have been
approaching to New York.

Director of the China Tourism Office in New York, and more
than 100 representatives from business, overseas Chinese,
and media sectors of the East American cultural tourism
industry attended.

An Oasis in the Hinterland·Incredible Ningxia
was displayed during this event,
Cai Ju,
Director of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Ningxia,
presented cultural and tourism resources, introducing the
origins of
"the Yellow River enriches Ningxia" and the "World
Irrigation Engineering Heritage List",
as well as the unique scenery and diverse intangible cultural heritage
along the Yellow River, such as Sha Po Tou, Sand Lake,
and Yellow River Hotel Group;
The linear world cultural heritage of the Great Wall
presents Ningxia, as China's "Great Wall Museum," with its
sound architectural engineering system, grand scale,
and many historical sites such as the Xumi Mountain Grottoes and the
ancient Xiaoguan under the shelter of the Great Wall; The
Purple Corridor of Helan Mountain Wine Culture Tourism
presents the beauty of Ningxia's “Golden Zone",
"Global Wine Tourism Destination", "Emerging Landmark", and
"Purple Brand Card" for cultural tourism development through
the corridor.

China and the United States are important tourist
destinations and source countries for each other, and
tourism has always been an important component of cultural
exchanges between China and the United States.
She sincerely invites all sectors to visit Ningxia and
experience the unique charm of the Hometown of Stars.
Huang Ping（Chinese
consul-general in New York）
stated that the Star of today's event is Ningxia, which
enjoys her reputation of
"the Oasis Beyond the Great Wall".
As an important node of the Silk Road and a precious land in
west China, Ningxia has taken the initiative to integrate
into the efforts to build a strategic base of the Silk Road
Economic Belt since the President Xi put forward the "the
Belt and Road" initiative for ten years, which has become a
brand new card of China's opening up;
Hoping this event will help to understand a vibrant and
promising Ningxia, and gain a better understanding of an
open, confident,
and inclusive China.
Elizabeth Chin expressed her gratitude for presenting a
grand feast at this event, which allowed various sectors of
the United States have a better understanding of the
history, culture, and unique products of Ningxia.
She is looking forward to developing a deep friendship with
Ningxia and making joint efforts to make Ningxia's culture,
cuisine, and fine wine well known to the world.
The event introduced the advantages of Ningxia wine and
modern agriculture as well, and presented the "Twenty One
Scenes of Ningxia" .
Guests showed a strong interest in Ningxia's cultural tourism, wine, and
local products while tasting fine wine from the Eastern
Foothills of
Helan Mountain in Ningxia.
They were deeply connected with the Ningxia delegation and
looking forward for more vibrant communication and
cooperation between Ningxia and the United States.
