Antigua's
Mas Clubs gear up , literally for the Carnival.
For the last year, hour after hour of detailed work. Late
in the evening and early in the morning, piece by piece,
feather after feather,
glittery pieces following each other in jeweled splendor,
until
the perfect themed costume is finally deemed ready for
Carnival.
Every garment is made the old fashioned way, from
scratch by hand.
The Front line must be resplendent and dramatic,
exotic and
splendiferous. The Back line, a solid exotic army on the
March.
The honor of the Mas Club is at stake and Revellers , hold
the high ground and after 36 years, are the top guns, and
the guys to beat.
