AUTHOR
Born in Chicago, H.N.
Hirsch is a graduate of the University of Michigan with
advanced degrees from Princeton. He is the author of
several scholarly books, including The Enigma of Felix
Frankfurter, a biography of Supreme Court justice Felix
Frankfurter (called “brilliant” by the New York Times),
and a memoir about academic life, Office Hours (which
Kirkus called “wistful and well-crafted”). His Bob and
Marcus mystery series now includes five volumes.
