Long Island, NY – Summer is fast approaching and the
Hamptons are the place to be this event season. An
event that once again stood out this summer was
the American Heart Association’s 22nd Annual
Hamptons Heart Ball. This incredibly anticipated
event took place at the Southampton Arts
Center in Southampton, NY on Saturday, June 23,
2018.
This year, the Heart
Ball honored Audrey
& Martin Gruss, of The
Audrey and Martin Gruss Foundation and Dr.
Apostolos K. Tassiopoulos, Department
Chair of Vascular Surgery at Stony Brook Director of
the Heart and Stroke Center at Southampton
Hospital. The
2018 Hamptons Heart Ball was chaired by Jean Shafiroff, Philanthropist
and Author and Chuck
Simonton, M.D., Chief
Medical Officer and Divisional Vice President,
Global Medical Affairs,
Abbott.
