BAILEY HOUSE RAISES $556,662
AT 31st ANNUAL GALA & AUCTION
"Activism is about showing up." That is
what 2019 Rodger McFarlane Social Justice honoree Billy
Porter told
guests at Bailey House's 31st Annual Gala & Auction on
March 7, 2019. The benefit raised $556,662 at Chelsea
Piers’ Pier Sixty.
Activists, advocates, allies, and friends
did indeed show up to help drive the evening's success.
The event brought together New York’s interior design
and arts communities and Bailey House supporters for a
night of crucial fundraising.
Other honorees included: Daniel
Beauchemin ,
CEO of Chelsea Frames with the Rand Skolnick Social
Responsibility Award; Charles
Pavarini III ,
Founder and President of Pavarini Design, and Alan
Tanksley ,
President of Alan Tanksley Inc., with the Gina
Quattrochi Arts & Legacy Award. The award presenters
included: Brian
Stokes Mitchell ,
Tony Award-winning actor, singer, and director; and Jamie
Drake and Alexa
Hampton ,
AD 100 interior designer stars; and Mj
Rodriguez ,
“Pose,” actress and singer.

Bailey House's legendary Auction featured
more than 450 items ranging from luxurious home decor
and furnishings; an amazing collection of art; and one
of a kind experiences and travel opportunities. Some
auction items are still available via our Public Pop Up
