The 2016 Celebrate Israel Parade, one of the largest parades
in New York City, returned for the 52nd year
on Sunday,
June 5, from 11 AM to 4 PM, marching up Fifth Avenue from 57th to
74th Streets,
Manhattan.
Fifth Avenue once again turned blue and white as more than
30 floats with musical performers, 15 world-class marching
bands, and 40,000 marchers entertained hundreds of thousands
of spectators for the largest celebration of Israel in the
world.
New this year, cast members from the Broadway production of Fiddler
on the Roof rode
a specially designed float up Fifth Avenue, singing some of
the most recognizable songs from the musical and performing
live for the TV and Grand Stand audience .
