On Saturday, April
15,2017 animal rights activist and philanthropist Jean
Shafiroff, Global Strays and the SPCA of Suffolk County held
a NYC Easter Pet Parade and march in NYC at starting point,
Selena Rose Cafe. Participants and their dogs marched to
show their support of animal rights worldwide. Dog owners
brought their dogs dressed in Easter costumes for the
march. Some dog owners also dressed up in Easter outfits
for the occasion. Selena Rose Cafe in NYC provided a
delicious steak and chicken meal to all the dogs
participating in the march.
The dog march was organized to celebrate Easter and to
raise heightened awareness on the great need for proper care
of animals world wide. In many countries abuse of animals
is widespread. Jean Shafiroff, Global Strays and the SPCA
are all working to combat animal abuse. |
