|
“Thrilled” is an understatement when I met the real Otis
Williams, founder and last living member of the legendary
Motown “Temptations” at the re-opening of the smash Broadway
hit, “Ain’t Too Proud.” “Get Ready” for the night of your
life following their successes and tragedies, against the
backdrop of America’s civil unrest.
I was also
thrilled to catch Otis talking to famous psychologist
radio and TV advice personality, Dr. Judy Kuriansky, a
wise investor in the show. He told her about feeling
blessed by God for every day being alive, and now seeing
the life of the band on stage, enthralling audiences.
More thrills
were in store, meeting two cast members of the 50+ city
National “Get Ready” Tour which plays the prestigious
Kennedy Center in Washington DC in mid-December and ends
where the Tempts all started in Detroit.
