WHAT: Madison
Avenue Welcome Back Saturdays: Shop With Your Dog is a very
special day for dog owners and fans, with dog-related
programming and entertainment for the entire family to
enjoy. Doggie bowls will mark the over 60 participating
stores, and shoppers will have the heart-warming opportunity
to meet-and-greet the dogs up for adoption with a percentage
of sales going to The Humane Society of New York (HSNY).
There will be programming on two outdoor stages. Broadway’s
star dog trainer Bill Berloni will show how his dogs perform
on stage and share backstage stories from his book “Broadway
Tails.” HSNY will present Ask the Vet talks by Dr. Lauren
Postler on pandemic pet care. Artist Andrea Caceres will
create an en plein portrait of your dog. There will be a
special guest talk by the creator of @Dogs of NYC and Boogie
the Pug, and celebrity photographer Andrew Werner will take
step-and-repeat portraits of you and your dog. Free and open
to the public, the event is organized by the Madison Avenue
B.I.D.
