Kidspace Celebrates
International Ice Cream Day
with Scooper Bowl
Sunday
A world of ice cream
flavors comes to Pasadena on July 19
Families are invited
to celebrate International Ice Cream Day with a global
tasting adventure at Scooper Bowl Sunday on July 19, from
10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Kidspace Children's Museum. It's the
sweetest day of the year!
As soccer fans
around the world tune in for the World Cup finals, Kidspace
is hosting its own friendly international competition, one
scoop at a time. Guests can sample ice cream flavors
inspired by cultures from around the globe, meet Los
Angeles-area ice cream artisans, and purchase their favorite
frozen treats while enjoying a day of outdoor play and
discovery at Kidspace.
"Los Angeles is one
of the most diverse cities in the world, and its incredible
ice cream scene reflects the flavors and traditions of
cultures from every corner of the globe," said Lisa
Clements, Kidspace CEO. "Scooper Bowl Sunday is a delicious
way for families to celebrate International Ice Cream Day,
discover something new, and share the simple joy of an ice
cream cone together."
Free samples will be
available while supplies last, with additional ice cream
available for purchase from participating vendors. Scooper
Bowl Sunday is included with museum admission and is free
for Kidspace members.
