The Skin Cancer Foundation’s
Champions for Change Gala
Wednesday,
May 13, 2026
Ziegfeld
Ballroom, 141 West 54th Street, New York, NY
(#SCFGala) is the Foundation’s signature fundraising event.
Each year, awards are bestowed upon the Foundation’s
“Champions.”
This year, supporters unite over the shared
goal:
“Fighting Skin Cancer from Every Angle.”
Skin cancer warrior Sarah Eggenberger, on-air
correspondent for TODAY and senior
editor-at-large for NewBeauty hosts this
year’s event. She began advocating for skin
cancer awareness after her morpheaform
basal cell carcinoma diagnosis and treatment in 2025.
Model and actress Michelle Monaghan (“Mission:
Impossible,” “The White Lotus,” “The Family Plan 2”) will be
honored for her advocacy work with this year’s
Impact Award.
She has publicly supported sun
protection and skin cancer awareness since her battle with
melanoma in 2007.
Adam Schweitzer
will be honored with this
year’s Champion for Change Award. For
more than 15 years, Schweitzer, a senior partner at WME, has
rallied friends and associates in the entertainment industry
to raise awareness for this disease in honor of his father,
who passed away from melanoma.
The evening will include a
special performance by his dear friend
Hank Azaria and
The EZ Street Band.
