"You'll go wild for this" Gothamist
Directed by Ivan Talijancic and co-written with
Slovenian playwright Simona Semenic in collaboration
with the performers (Melody Bates, Gillian Chadsey,
Erika Latta and Breeda Wool), BLIND.NESS
follows a powerhouse all-female cast on an emotional
roller coaster ride across the dark and wildly
humorous underbelly of love. Presented in
WaxFactory's renowned interdisciplinary style,
part-multi-media installation, part-dance theatre,
BLIND.NESS is an unflinching examination of
what happens when love goes terribly wrong. This
technology infused tour-de-force will surely bend
minds and break hearts. WaxFactory collaborators on
this project include Antonio Giacomin (video
design), Minimart architecture studio (scenic
installation), Random Logic (soundscape), Haans
Nicholas Mott (costumes), and Solomon Weisbard
(lights).
BLIND.NESS is a WaxFactory project, co-produced with
PS122 (New York), Integrali and Cankarjev Dom
(Ljubljana, Slovenia).
About WaxFactory:
"Mesmerizing theatre for the 21st century” Flavorpill
Since its formation in 1998, WaxFactory has
established itself as one of the most
internationally active multidisciplinary groups to
emerge from the NY downtown scene, creating new

featuring a highly innovative blend of physical
performance, audio-visual, architectural and fashion
design, and an integrated use of the new media and

created for a variety of unconventional locations in
NY and abroad, their work was shown at renowned
international venues such as: ICA/Institute of
Contemporary Arts (London, UK), the Gulbenkian
