NEW YORK – Fashion Fights
Cancer, an annual fashion show and sample sale event that
raises funds and awareness for cancer research, will be held
at Manhattan’s Audi Forum on Aug. 19, 2010, from 6:30-11:30
p.m. Event proceeds will be donated to
I’m Too Young for This! Cancer Foundation and The Cancer
Research Institute.
The event, hosted by actress
and recording artist Suzy Malick, will feature the
collections from five New York-based designers: Tadashi
Shoji (featured in Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week),
Beauty Mark (by Bryon Lars), Whistle & Flute, Lotusgrace and
Kahri (by Kahrianne Kerr). Pieces showcased in the fashion
show will be available for purchase at the sample sale
following the runway show.
General admission ($50) and
VIP tickets ($250) are available at

. Both tickets levels come with a $20 credit
towards a purchase at the event’s sample sale.
