The Fifth Annual Designer Showhouse
of New Jersey
will open with a Preview
Party on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 4 High Meadow
Road, Saddle River, New Jersey, and run for six
weeks from Sunday, April 25 through Sunday, June 6,
2010 (closed on Mondays). Proceeds will benefit
the
John
Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University
Medical Center.
Preview Party tickets begin at $225 each and
Sponsorships are available at the $1,000 level and
above.
The
Designer Showhouse of New Jersey,
now in its fifth
year, is a showcase
for America's premier design talent.
Approximately 25 top interior and landscape
designers from New York and New Jersey will turn a
Georgian colonial home into a decorating masterpiece.

are the Co-Chairs of the Showhouse Committee.
The John Theurer Cancer Center at
Hackensack University Medical Center
is home to New Jersey?s largest and most
comprehensive cancer program.
The
John Theurer Cancer Center
is among the top 10 in the nation by patient volume
and has one of the largest Blood and Marrow
Transplantation Programs.
The medical center for the new John
Theurer Cancer Center will feature a
155,000-square-foot facility for adult outpatient
cancer services. Parking will be available in the
new adjacent 960-car garage. The Center
incorporates diagnostic facilities, chemotherapy
preparation and infusion areas, pharmacy and
laboratory resources, as well as a full spectrum of
radiation oncology services. In keeping with its
commitment to green and sustainable buildings,
the new facility follows guidelines outlined by the
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design
developed by the U.S. Green Building Council.
Showhouse hours will be as follows:
April 25 to June 6,
Tuesday through Sunday, 10:00 AM to
4:00 PM (closed on Mondays). Children under six,
infants, strollers and pets are not allowed in the
Showhouse. General Admission to the Showhouse is
$30 and includes the Showhouse Journal.
