– Legendary performer Steve Lawrence brings his celebrated
talents to the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts for an
exciting night celebrating the great American songbook. Hear
classics by Gershwin, Porter, Berlin and more on February
11, 2010 at 8 p.m. in Dreyfoos Hall.
Steve Lawrence has spent more than 50 years in show business
and is one of the most popular and respected male vocalists
of his time. He won the esteemed New York Drama Critics
Award for his Broadway debut in the musical, “What Makes
Sammy Run.”
He has been honored with nine Emmy Awards, a Grammy Award
and the Film Advisory Board’s Award of Excellence. Steve
received a Lifetime Achievement Award in 1995 from the
Songwriters Hall of Fame. In 1996, he was honored by the
Society of Singers with the coveted “Ella Lifetime
Achievement Award.”
Throughout his career, Steve has performed with some of the
most legendary artists of all time including Judy Garland,
Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bob Hope, Gene Kelly, Ethel
Merman and Sammy Davis, Jr. In 1991, Steve and his wife
Eydie had the privilege of touring around the world with
Frank Sinatra on the “Diamond Jubilee Tour.”
With a touring schedule, movie projects and television
appearances, Steve Lawrence continues to be one of the
busiest and most successful entertainers in show business.

at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts at 8:00pm in
Dreyfoos Hall.
Tickets range from $20 to $75. Premium seating, first 11
