WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The West Palm Beach Unit for the
American Cancer Society and its volunteer gala committee are
excited to announce this year’s fundraising gala as the
highly anticipated return of The Orchid City Ball. At The
American Cancer Society’s Orchid City Ball on Saturday,
April 2, 2011, invited guests can look forward to a
spectacular evening of sophisticated entertainment, dancing,
fine dining, silent and live auctions as well as an exciting
chance drawing. The evening’s live auction will be hosted by
professional auctioneer Neil Saffer and will feature
exclusive trips, experiences and more. Starting at 7:00 p.m.,
this year’s fundraiser
will be held at
Trump International Golf Club, 3505 Summit Blvd. in West
Palm Beach, Florida.
Honorary Chairs Donald and Melania Trump are a welcomed
addition to this year’s event. “We are thrilled to have the
Trumps as our honorary chairs of the event supporting this
important cause. We encourage residents and area visitors to
be a part of this extraordinary evening,” said gala
committee chair, Tony Javarone of The Javarone Group at
Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. Monique Javarone, owner of
Fashionista Palm Beach, shares the reins with her husband as
gala chair. “This year’s Orchid City Ball highlights all
that is beautiful and unique about the great city of West

sponsors in our community who are supporting this year’s
event.” This year’s sponsors (at the time of printing)
include Braman Motorcars, Kinnear Financial, The Bachelor
Foundation, The Pink Party and Dr. Beth Ann Lesnikoski.
