Over 100 “Best of Broadway” Performers Come Together in
Special Tribute to Israel at Lincoln Center Alice Tully Hall,
With A Simultaneous Live Broadcast in
Times Square

YORK, NY – If you
haven’t seen “The Scottsboro Boys,” which just received 12
Tony nominations today, it’s not too late. Led by
Tony-Nominee for Best Actor, Joshua Henry, “The Scottsboro
Boys” return on Monday, May 16th at Lincoln
Center’s Alice Tully Hall when they and 100 “best of
Broadway” performers come together to perform in “Broadway
Sensation,” a benefit celebrating Israel’s future. New
Yorkers will be simultaneously treated to a star-studded
event broadcast live in Times Square.
Tony Award nominated performer, Brad Oscar
(“The Producers,” “Jekyll and Hyde”) will host this
unprecedented show featuring over 100 performers, a 30-piece
orchestra and special guests.
In addition to “The Scottsboro Boys,” Tovah
Feldshuh (Golda’s Balcony), Dudu Fisher (Les Mis), Liz
Callaway (Cats), and lead performers from “Wicked,” “Next to
Normal,” “Addams Family,” “Rock of Ages,” “Sweeney Todd,”
“Billy Elliot,” and many more will participate in support of
the Jewish National Fund (JNF), OR Movement and the
America-Israel Cultural Foundation (AICF).
Broadway Sensation co-chairs, currently
producing the hottest Broadway Shows in town including Jo
Sullivan Loesser,* Lorenzo Thione,** Adam Blanshay,*** and
Richard Frankel ****, are lending their considerable
experience to this event.
Veteran Broadway producer Richard Frankel
says, “Broadway stars and sensational discoveries perform in
this fantastic evening filled with unforgettable moments.”
Other major contributors include: leading
clothing brand American Eagle, fashion icon Elie Tahari,
Stylist for Michelle Obama Carlton Jones, and innovative
production imaging by Baldev Duggal. Jordache’s Shaul and
Gloria Nakash are the evening’s honorees.

JNF, AICF, and OR have created a strong
collaboration to achieve a joint vision for the south of Israel. OR Movement has built an
information center in the Negev
providing housing solutions, job opportunities, and
education. The center highlights cultural activities, and
gives exposure to the talented Israeli artists that AICF
supports and nurtures. JNF is building an amphitheatre in
the city of
Beersheba, giving the families of the Negev a stronger cultural identity as well as growing
economic value.
