conference
and
luncheon
presented
as a
community
service
by Caron
Treatment
Centers
for
parents,
professionals
and the
public
is
scheduled
for
Friday,
September
9, 2011
at the
Fairmont
Hotel in
Dallas.
To take
place
during
September’s
National
Alcohol
and Drug
Addiction
Recovery
Month,
Caron
Cares
offers
its
guests
an
opportunity
to
tailor
their
day with
selections
of two
lectures
presented
along
with
keynote
speakers
at
breakfast
and
lunch.
Sponsored
by local
nonprofit
addiction
treatment
center,
Caron
Texas,
the
event
runs
from
9 a.m.
to 2
p.m.
Breakfast
keynote
speakers,
Constance
Curry
and
Kristina
Wandzilak,
mother
and
daughter
co-authors
of The
Lost
Years
will
start
the day
with
their
true
story of
an
all-American
girl and
her
family's
compelling
journey
through
addiction
and
recovery.
Participants
will
break
for two
lectures
of their
own
selection,
and
regroup
for a
luncheon
featuring
keynote
speaker,
Brad
Lamm.
Known
for
helping
people
make
life-enhancing
changes
on the
Dr. Oz
Show,
Lamm is
an
author,
speaker
and
founder
and
president
of
Intervention
Specialists,
a family
education
and
crisis
intervention
group
that
helps
family
and
friends
get
loved
ones to
accept
help and
begin
lasting
change.
He is
also a
creator
and
producer
of the
new
series
“Addicted
to Food”
on the
Oprah
Winfrey
Network.

Caron
Texas
opened

July
2010 and
is

high-quality,
gender-specific
addiction
treatment
to
adults
in Texas
and the
Southwest.
Part of
the
Caron
Treatment
Centers
network,
the
28,000-square-foot
facility
is set
on 40
acres
and
offers
many
amenities
for
patients
and
their
families
in a
serene
and
secluded
setting,
just 40
miles
north of
Dallas.
A new
14,000-square-foot
fitness
center
and
swimming
pool
were
completed
on the
campus
last
winter.
In
addition
to its
new
center
in
Texas,
Caron
