Las Vegas, NV—Three
Square Food Bank will host its annual benefit event,
DISH Las Vegas, presented by Smith’s Food & Drug Stores,
featuring a variety of delicious tasting stations by top
Las Vegas restaurants, an array of refreshing cocktails
and an intimate concert by Sugar Ray. The event will
take place at the Palms Pool and Bungalows at the Palms
Casino Resort on Thursday, Sept. 22 from 6:30 to 10 p.m.
Attendees will experience an exciting and unique
culinary event, providing an opportunity to taste
delicious food from more than 20 of Las Vegas’ best
restaurants including Rick Moonen’s rm Seafood at
Mandalay Bay, STK Las Vegas at The Cosmopolitan Las
Vegas, TAO at The Venetian, N9NE Steakhouse and Alizé at
the Palms, among others. Attendees will also have a
chance to bid on high-end silent auction items, a chance
to mingle with Las Vegas’ top chefs and be front-row for
a live concert from alt-rock band Sugar Ray.
Sugar Ray, best known for its 1997 No. 1 hit record
“Fly,” entertains audiences with a distinctive blend of
rock, pop, light funk and hip-hip groves. To date the
band remains widely popular, having released seven
studio albums and selling millions of albums worldwide.
“In its third year, DISH Las Vegas has become THE Las
Vegas culinary event of the fall,” said Brian Burton,
president and chief executive officer of Three Square
Food Bank. “Delicious food and drink, high
energy entertainment and a fabulous Las Vegas venue
make for a memorable evening for all involved; while
raising money to provide food and hope to those less
fortunate in our community.”
Tickets are all-inclusive (apart from auction items) and
are priced at $100 per person for advanced tickets and
$150 per person when purchased at the door. Event
proceeds benefit Three Square and will help provide
nutritious food to Southern Nevada children, seniors,
and families struggling with hunger. For further
