Event Purpose: The 14th annual
Pot of Gold Luncheon, presented by A T &T, will be held on Friday, April 8, 2011, at the Hilton Anatole Hotel.
Through table sponsorships, silent auction, raffle and
other donations, the event is striving to raise
over $200,000 to benefit over 9,500
children and families in the Dallas area Rainbow Days
serves each year Rainbow Days:
Rainbow Days is a Dallas-based nonprofit organization
whose mission is to inspire and prepare children to
live a life filled with hope and promise.
Since the first support group in 1982, Rainbow Days has
directly served more than 126,000 children & parents
in the
Dallas
Metroplex and trained over 34,000 youth-
professionals to facilitate Rainbow Days’
award-winning Curriculum-Based Support Group (CBSG®)
Program and other prevention programs locally, as well
as state and nationwide.
Through support groups, classroom-based life skills
education programs and special services for homeless
children, Rainbow Days serves over 9,500 children and
youth each year. Rainbow Days is governed by a
volunteer Board of Directors and as a 501 c (3)
organization, receives funding from a several federal
and state grants, United Way of
Metropolitan Dallas,
foundations,
corporations,
and individual donors.
