SERVICES FOR THE UNDERSERVED TO HONOR
ROB DAVIS AT ANNUAL
"CELEBRATING INDEPENDENCE" GALA
MONDAY, JUNE 6th
Services for the UnderServed will honor
Rob Davis at "Celebrating Independence," the Annual
Services for the UnderServed gala, on Monday, June 6th
at 6:30 PM at the Allen Room and Atrium in Frederick P. Rose
Hall at Jazz at Lincoln Center, located at 33 W 60th
Street, (between Broadway and Columbus Avenue), Manhattan.
Proceeds from the event will benefit
Services for the UnderServed, which provides housing and
supportive services to over 4,000 New Yorkers with diverse
special needs and multiple challenges, enabling them to live
with dignity in their communities, direct their own lives,
and attain personal fulfillment.
Tickets begin at $500 and can be
purchased at
www.susinc.org/annualgala.
The event begins at 6:30 PM with
cocktails, followed by dinner, dancing, entertainment and a
silent auction. The evening will be hosted by Andrew
Zimmern of "Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern.' Music
will be provided by the Marcus Roberts Trio.
Members of the benefit committee include: Brian P. Crotty,
Peter Friedland, Andrew Hurwitz, Barbara Lehrer, Marcus
Mayo, James Vassalotti II, Thomas McCauley and Michael
Vranos.
Honorary Co-chairs of the event are United States
Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, Manhattan Borough
President Scott Stringer, Brooklyn Borough President
Marty Markowitz, Bronx Borough President Ruben
Diaz, Jr., Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services
