TO THE HAMPTONS
Diaspora Vibe 2.0: 16th Annual
Caribbean Crossroads Series Exhibition,
a Celebration of Artists and Art-Making, Opens in
Southampton with August 11 Gala
The Southampton Cultural Center will
host "Diaspora Vibe 2.0: The 16th Annual Caribbean
Crossroads Series Exhibition, a dazzling display of
provocative, contemporary fine art by more than 30 artists
from the Latin American and Caribbean Diaspora. The event
launches with an artist-interactive fund-raising gala
honoring artist advocate Grace Y. Ingelton on
Saturday, August 11, from 4 to 7 p.m. The benefit will
feature Caribbean and Latin cuisine by celebrity chef Mark
Bailey (seen on the TLC reality series Leave It
to Niecy and Oxygen's Girlfriend Confidential: L.A.).
The exhibit, co-presented by Global Arts/Media and Diaspora
Vibe Cultural Arts Incubator, runs from August 11 to 26.
