The Ireland Chamber of Commerce – USA (ICCUSA)
presents the 24th Annual American Celtic Ball in
partnership with The Gathering Ireland 2013 at The Pierre
Hotel in New York City on Wednesday, October 10, 2012. We
are delighted to confirm that our honorees for the upcoming
American Celtic Ball are:

Former
Irish President Mary McAleese and her husband Senator Martin
McAleese will be celebrating a special recognition award
that evening (keynote speakers).

Ambassador Elizabeth
Frawley Bagley, Senior Advisor for Special Initiatives,
Office of the Secretary of State – Hillary Clinton, will be
recipient of the Albert Schweitzer’s Leadership for
Life Award
·
Ms. Louise Phelan,
Vice President of Global Operations for PayPal Inc. –
Dublin, will be the recipient of the Sir Michael Smurfit
Business Achievement Award
·
Mr.
Tom Dreesen, comedian, will be the recipient of the Arts &
Entertainment Award
2013 is the year of The Gathering when
Ireland is inviting the world to join in a year of
celebrating Irish music, fun, culture and lots more. For
those who are Irish in ancestry or in spirit 2013 offers the
opportunity to experience Ireland at her authentic best.
In addition, a portion of the proceeds
from the American Celtic Ball will also benefit the ICCUSA
Foundation or also known as the Albert Schweitzer Leadership
for Life (ASLFL) program. This youth leadership development
program inspires and enables young adults (ages 15 to 18
years old) from across the globe to become confident and
effective leaders, as well as good stewards of their local
and global communities.
