To Host An Evening of Hope
The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America, the only
national nonprofit voluntary health organization dedicated
to the fight against Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis,
is set to host their annual "An Evening of Hope" event on
Friday, November 16, 2012. Taking place at the Hollywood
Beach Marriott, 2501 N. Ocean Drive, at 7:00 p.m., the
casino-themed event is one of the "must attend" soirees of
the season.
Beginning with an elegant cocktail reception,
guests will be treated to world-class cuisine and libations
from some of the areas top restaurants including Anthony's
Runway 84,Latitudes, and many more. From there guests will
enter the ballroom that has been transformed into a Las
Vegas style casino. Following an elegant seated dinner,
guests can hit the dance floor, try their luck at the number
of casino tables dispersed throughout the room, or take a
chance in the live or silent auctions, which will feature
items such as jewelry and fabulous vacation packages.
The highlight of the evening will be the announcement of the
2012 Hope Award recipient. The Hope Award is given each year
to an individual or family who gives hope and inspiration to
those suffering from Crohn's and colitis.
Susan Gringauz and Craig Konhauzer will chair this
incredible event that raises funds to support research,
educational programs, summer camps, support groups, and more
for children and adults affected by Crohn's disease and
ulcerative colitis. Additionally, funds raised will help to
support the Widom Family Research Scholar Award. The Award,
a three-year study of the immune system and bowel disease,
is being conducted at the University of Miami Miller School
of Medicine.
Tickets for An Evening of Hope are $250 per person.
