ABOUT Fiver Children’s Foundation takes its name from
Watership Down
FIVER: a novel whose main character, Fiver,
has a vision to create a better future for himself and his
community. The Fiver Children’s Foundation is an
award-winning youth development organization in New York
City that empowers children from underserved communities to
develop life skills and to reach their full potential.
Fiver’s 10-year commitment to each child includes year-round
mentoring and counseling programs, a character
building residential summer program and partnerships with
schools and community based organizations. Through this
commitment, Fiver provides an immersive culture that model’s
personal responsibility, social values and academic
achievement. 100% of Fiver children come from families that
qualify for free or reduced lunch programs.
