Lifeline New York is a non-profit organization that seeks to
improve the lives of helpless children and others suffering
in Serbia, especially orphans, infants
and people with disabilities. Working together with
the HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation, Lifeline New
York delivers desperately needed supplies to all those in
need and vital medical equipment to hospitals and
clinics. Lifeline New York’s humanitarian efforts have
included the donation of computers and toys to orphans to
let them know they have not been forgotten. Neonatal
ultrasound machines have been provided to address Serbia’s
staggering infant mortality rate with five babies dying out
of every 1,000 born—one of the highest percentages in all of
Europe. In addition, Serbia has one of the highest
mortality rates from breast cancer in all of Europe, with 30
out of every 100,000 diagnosed women dying.
To address this, Lifeline New York gave a mobile
mammography unit to help with early detection of breast
cancer.
On Thursday, March 15 from 7 to 10 p.m., the

be exchanged for raffle tickets and chances to win fabulous
prizes. In addition, attendees can enjoy a live performance
by world-class pop vocalist Antonia Bennett, daughter of the
