Event to Honor Peter Chernin and Other Leaders
in the Malaria Fight
Featuring Anne Hathaway, Seth Meyers, Katharine McPhee,
Dhani Jones, Richard Bona and more |
WHAT: Malaria No More celebrates its sixth
anniversary by honoring and awarding key supporters for
their outstanding contributions in the fight against
malaria. Honorees have made significant contributions to the
organization’s mission to end malaria deaths. The event will
be emceed by SNL’s Seth Meyers and feature performances from
Richard Bona and Malaria No More’s Ambassadors from Chad.
WHO: This year the organization will honor their
co-founder and chairman, Peter Chernin, for his remarkable
leadership and commitment to ending deaths from malaria as
well as celebrate some very exciting new partnerships to
further the cause. Peter Chernin is the Chairman and CEO of
The Chernin Group (TCG). TCG manages, operates and invests
in businesses in the media, entertainment, and technology
sectors. Prior to starting TCG, Mr. Chernin served as
President and Chief Operating Officer of News Corporation
from 1996-2009.
