childhood may contribute to rising rates of disease in
children and discover simple steps for prevention at the
Fifth Annual Mount Sinai Greening Our Children Luncheon,
Monday, May 7, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich,
Connecticut.
You will hear from Philip J. Landrigan, MD, MSc, renowned
pediatrician and expert in children’s environmental health.
Dr. Landrigan is the Director of Mount Sinai’s Children’s Environmental
Health Center (
www.cehcenter.org ), Ethel H. Wise Professor and Chair
of the Department of Preventative Medicine, Dean of Global
Health, and Professor of Pediatrics at the Mount Sinai
School of Medicine.
The luncheon features a fantastic green expo where guests
can learn about, see and touch healthy green products and
services and our 5th annual silent auction is filled with
priceless trips, one of a kind experiences and much more.
All proceeds will support the work of the Mount Sinai
Children’s Environmental Health Center by funding important
pilot projects to discover the causes of these diseases.
