Archbishop Timothy Dolan
To Be Guest Speaker At
Police Athletic League Business Luncheon, January 12th
Police Athletic League (PAL) announces that Archbishop
Timothy Dolan will be the guest speaker at the
January 12, 2012 PAL Business Luncheon.
The Archbishop has infused a new level of energy and
enthusiasm into the religious life of New York City since
his installation in April 2009. Archbishop Dolan was born in
Missouri, where he first entered the seminary as a high
school student. He finished his studies in Rome and was
ordained a priest in 1976. He comes to New York from
Milwaukee, where he had been the Archbishop. He serves on
the board of American University and is the current
President of the United States Conference of
Catholic Bishops.
The PAL Business Luncheons are well known for their
speakers, such as Christine Quinn, Michael Bloomberg, Chris
Christie and Andrew Cuomo. 100% of ticket sales benefit PAL,
as Mutual of America generously hosts the events. Starting
at $150 per seat, the ticket is 100%
tax deductible.
Robert M. Morgenthau has been Chairman of PAL since 1963 and
hosts each Luncheon with his long-time friend and PAL Board
Member, Red Apple Group Chairman, John Catsimatidis who
organizes the Luncheons for PAL. WABC Radio personality Mark
Simone moderates the Luncheons and audience members include
financiers, retailers, legal professionals as well as city,
state and federal officials.
