Vita Nova’s 4th Annual Tempt Your Senses Gala
“Celebrating the talent of our youth - A competition of the
finest cuisine, music and Art”
Who: Vita Nova, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
that provides independent living services such as vocational
training, education preparation, and life skills development
to young adults currently homeless or previously in foster
care. Our mission is to serve the needs of the most
vulnerable and underserved young people in our community
through advocacy and the provision of innovative programs.
Vita Nova exists to offer innovative solutions to this
terrible social problem. Through three main areas of
programming, Vita Nova offers hope and helps these young
people, ages 16 to 25, to become independent adults.
What: Fourth Annual “Tempt Your Senses” Gala. The gala will
be an evening that celebrates the finest cuisine, art and
music in Palm Beach County. There is also a competition
involving the preparation of the evening’s delicacies and
some of the cuisine will be prepared by talented young
people from Palm Beach County. The cuisine competition
features three categories; appetizers/hors d’oeuvers
prepared by students from the Lincoln Culinary Institute,
entrees prepared by 30 professional chefs from local
restaurants, hotels and country clubs and desserts prepared
by students at West Boca Raton Community High School who
compete for a scholarship.
This evening of socializing and entertainment is a
competition of our talented young people in the field of
fine food, music and art. Students will be competing for a
scholarship and chefs from fine restaurants, hotels and
country clubs in Palm Beach County will compete for a $1,000
cash prize. Guests are invited to vote on their favorite
chefs and participate in a fabulous silent auction. In
addition, there will also be an art exhibition and
competition showing the artistic talent of our young
students in
Palm Beach County.

Why: To help raise the much-needed funds to support Vita
Nova’s community service programs.

suitcase to hold belongings, it held my life.”
