Johns
Hopkins Medicine will present “A Woman’s Journey,” the
acclaimed annual women’s health conference and luncheon on
Thursday, January 24, 2013, at the Palm Beach County
Convention Center in West Palm Beach. Chairmen for the event
include
Lee Callahan, Susan Keenan, Betsy Meany, Susan Telesco and
Norma Tiefel.
The one-day conference features recent medical findings from
faculty and physicians from Johns Hopkins, the nation’s
top-ranked hospital. Guests can take their pick of a plenary
session, luncheon and two seminars – completely customizing
their experience.
In every session, Johns Hopkins’ physicians and researchers
will share the most recent medical discoveries and answer
questions, helping those attending the event to appreciate
how disease can uniquely affect women.
This year’s program includes a special presentation by the
new
Johns Hopkins Medicine Dean/CEO as well as seminars on
health topics from the benefits of turmeric to back pain and
new advances in cancer.
