The International Women’s
Earth and Climate Summit
www.iweci.org
From September 20th to 23rd,
2013,
100 global women leaders will convene in New York for a
3.5-day-long Summit.
Women from the Global South and Global North, including
grassroots activists, economists, scientists, businesswomen,
Indigenous leaders, policy-makers, faith leaders, and
culture-shapers, will come together to further
a women’s climate action agenda.
This Summit is not a one-time event, but rather a beginning
of long-term campaigns and projects to coordinate women’s
voices for our earth
and for future generations.
