WHAT: Autism
Speaks and New York Collaborates for Autism (NYCA) present
“The Winter Ball for Autism” hosted by “NBC Nightly News
with Brian Williams” anchor Brian Williams and special guest
Allison Williams of HBO’s hit series “Girls.” With the
breathtaking backdrop of New York City’s Metropolitan Museum
of Art, the Ball brings together a diverse group of guests
dedicated to raising awareness and funds for innovative
research, advocacy efforts and programs and services for
families and individuals affected by autism. Christina and
Adrian Jones, Gena and Billy Mann, and Laura and Harry
Slatkin will be honored with the Autism Champion Award.

disorder which now affects 1 in 88 individuals, and 1 in 54
boys.
