CITY HARVEST TO HOST 20TH ANNUAL
AN EVENING OF PRACTICAL MAGIC
City Harvest's 20th annual An
Evening of Practical Magic will
be held on Thursday, April 24th at Cipriani 42nd Street (110
East 42nd Street). The evening will include cocktails and a
silent auction at 6:30 pm, followed by a dinner and live
auction at 7:30. This
year, the event will honor City Harvest Board Member
Benjamin Bram, Managing Member, Watermill
Institutional Trading LLC, for his ongoing commitment to
helping City Harvest feed New York's
hungry. In addition, The Harry & Misook Doolittle Heart of
the City Award, which recognizes an important partner who

will be presented to Eric Ripert, Maguy Le Coze and the Team
of Le Bernardin. Newly appointed City Harvest Food Council
chairman, restaurateur and Food Network personality Geoffrey
Zakarian will host the event.
City Harvest's An
Evening of Practical Magic pays
tribute to the efforts of individuals and organizations who
have gone above and beyond in their commitment to help City
Harvest feed New York's hungry. The dinner will raise funds
to support City Harvest's work at a time when demand for
emergency food continues to rise. It will be attended by
City Harvest board members, celebrities, notable chefs,
corporate leaders and longstanding supporters of the
organization.
Last year's event raised $2 million for City
Harvest, attracted more than 500 guests and was hosted by
