ETTA will celebrate its 21st annual

Cocktail reception begins at 5:30 p.m., with dinner and
awards starting at 6:30 p.m. ETTA is the only Los
Angeles-based organization that provides a full spectrum of

Hosted by TV personality Adrianna
Costa, this year’s gala will honor several notables for
their contributions to the community. Davis
Factor, great-grandson of cosmetic legend Max Factor and
co-founder of Smashbox Studios and Cosmetics, will receive
the Visionary Award. Through his dedication to art and

Los Angeles into an epicenter of photography. Since selling
Smashbox to the Estée Lauder Companies, Factor has served as
head of Global Creative for Smashbox Cosmetics. Spending his
entire life in fashion and beauty, he is currently working
on his first book with Fahey Klein that will capture his
journey as a photographer, entrepreneur and creative
pioneer. Also honored at the gala will be the ETTA

“We are delighted and humbled to honor this
group of very special individuals. We rely on dedicated
members of our community to help us fulfill our mission to
assist those with developmental disabilities and their
families, and are grateful for their unwavering support,”
said Dr. Michael Held, the Executive Director of ETTA. “I
have a strong and personal commitment to the organization,
and am very excited to see our philosophy of inclusion and
empowerment grow by leaps and bounds."
Since its inception 21 years ago, ETTA
has served thousands of adults with disabilities and their
families. Over
the years ETTA has received major grants from individuals
and institutions including Steve Tisch, Alec Gores, The Max
Factor Family Foundation and The Jewish Federation, among
others. ETTA
currently operates Group Homes in the San Fernando Valley
and also operates “Stevie T’s,” a semi-independent living
home for adult women in west Los Angeles funded by Steve
Tisch. Due to high demand, ETTA has set forth a “200 by
2020” plan that aims to provide residential and related
services for 200 adults by the year 2020.
ETTA, founded in 1993 in Los Angeles,
California, is the only organization in Los Angeles that
provides a full spectrum of services for Jewish adults with
special needs. ETTA serves people with developmental
disabilities and their families, and is one of the premier
providers of such services on the West Coast. ETTA provides
a full spectrum of services including residential housing,
case management, employment training and placement,
educational services and social services. ETTA’s mission is
to provide programs and services that enable people with
special needs, and the families who love them, to live fully
enriched and active lives as members of the Los Angeles
community. We enable people with disabilities to achieve
greater independence, autonomy and inclusion. We change
mindsets, raise awareness, increase sensitivity and provide
inspiration. We elevate lives and train leaders. We are a
community of hope, warmth, support and expertise.
