Mounts Botanical Garden, Palm
Beach County’s oldest and most treasured garden — an oasis
in the heart of West Palm Beach — is pleased to announce the
details for their upcoming Spring Benefit set to take place April
6 from 5:30
p.m. to 8
p.m. at a
private garden on the intracoastal. The annual event brings
together garden lovers for an evening of celebration and to
raise funds for Mounts Botanical Garden’s educational
programs and landscape additions.
Several hundred Palm Beach residents and
associations attend this event sponsored by the non-profit Friends
of the Mounts Botanical Garden each
year. Mrs. Polly Reed and Mrs. Jean Matthews are chairs of
this year’s event.
This event promises a lovely evening of hors
d’oeuvres, music and art. Attendees will also have the
opportunity to participate in a silent auction featuring
exotic, rare and exquisite plants and arrangements among
other unique items such as collectable plants, plant
arrangements, artistic items, dining and travel packages.
“The Spring Benefit is a fabulous event that
brings together fans of horticulture for an evening of
celebration under the stars,” said Co-Chair Polly Reed. “We
are fortunate to have a spectacular backdrop, including
magnificent gardens and art, for our guests to enjoy.”
