World-Renowned Chefs Present Takes On
Tomorrow’s Food Trends to Benefit Citymeals-on-Wheels
WHAT: Legendary chefs will gather on Monday,
June 8, 2015 for
a remarkable milestone -- Cheftopia:
The 30th Annual Chefs’ Tribute to Citymeals-on-Wheels.
For
this landmark anniversary, these culinary
stars will celebrate
the past while looking to the future as they create dishes
inspired by tomorrow’s food trends at
tasting stations
throughout the Rockefeller Center Plaza. In the spirit of
Citymeals Co-Founder James Beard, the highly anticipated
event will raise funds to
support the preparation and delivery of nutritious meals,
hand-delivered to homebound elderly New Yorkers.

Rockefeller Center will be transformed into a culinary
paradise by renowned architect and Citymeals Board Member
David Rockwell. More than 1,000 business leaders, gourmet
enthusiasts, food industry trendsetters, socialites, young
professionals, chefs and restaurateurs will be in attendance
for live music, dancing and spectacular cuisine.
Nick Valenti, CEO of Patina Restaurant Group, will be the
evening’s Grand Host. The event is chaired by Ninah &
Michael Lynne; Laura & John Pomerantz; Randi & Dennis Riese;
and Lizzie & Jonathan Tisch. With the help of beverage chair
Audrey Saunders (Owner, The Pegu Club) and wine chair Daniel
Johnnes (Wine Director, The Dinex Group), the event will
also feature signature cocktails from top spirit sponsors
and stellar wines from notable wineries.
Official sponsors of Citymeals-on-Wheels are American
Airlines and FIJI Water. Other sponsors to-date include:

TICKETS: Premier Patron: $25,000 (includes 14 VIP
tickets; 6:30pm early admission; access to VIP Lounge)
Extraordinary Patron: $15,000 (includes 8 VIP tickets;
6:30pm early admission; access to VIP Lounge)
Very Grand Patron: $10,000 (includes 6 VIP tickets; 6:30pm
early admission; access to VIP Lounge)
Grand Patron: $5,000 (includes 4 VIP tickets;
6:30pm early admission)
Benefactor: $2,500 (includes 2 VIP tickets;
6:30pm early admission)
General Admission Ticket: $600 each (7:30pm
general admission)
Young Professional Ticket: $225 (45 years and younger.
Tickets must be picked up at Will Call with valid ID. Ticket
includes a special pre-event cocktail reception and general
admission to the event, starting at 7:30pm. More information
will follow upon your ticket purchase. There is limited
availability of Young Professional tickets.)
$50 per ticket is not tax-deductible.
Thanks to its board members, the City of New York and
certain designated grants and sponsorships for
administrative expenses, Citymeals is able to promise that
100% of all proceeds from ticket sales will be used entirely
for the preparation and delivery of meals.
