City Harvest’s 21st annual
signature tasting event and auction, Bid
Against Hunger, will treat guests to an extraordinary
culinary experience overlooking the East River from
Manhattan’s Pier 36. City Harvest supporters will experience
over 70 of the city’s top restaurants, chefs and mixologists
in action, while bidding on exclusive prizes in live and
silent auctions. Proceeds from this event will help support
City Harvest's efforts to deliver good, nutritious food to
New Yorkers in need and build local communities where
residents have regular access to affordable, fresh and
healthy food. Last year, Bid
Against Hunger raised
over $1.4 million to help feed New York’s hungry.
Restaurant participants include The Lambs
Club, Le Bernardin, Red Rooster, Butter and FP Patisserie.
Auction items will range from exclusive dinners and culinary
experiences with top chefs, travel, fashion and beauty
packages, sports memorabilia and sporting event tickets. VIP
Room guests will experience exclusive tastings from New York
City’s finest chefs, and specialty drinks including Dom
Pérignon and wines curated by Aldo Sohm, Wine Director of Le
Bernardin and Aldo Sohm Wine Bar.
