ANNUAL “FORGET-ME-NOT” GALA, AN EVENING TO END ALZHEIMER’S

to Receive Chapter’s Caregiver Award
WHAT:
Members of New York City’s philanthropic, business, health
care and Alzheimer’scommunities will join forces on Monday,
June 8, 2015 at The Pierre, at the annual
“Forget-Me-Not” Gala, An Evening to End Alzheimer’s hosted
by the Alzheimer’s
Association, New York City Chapter.
The Chapter is expected to raise $1.5 million at the event,
which will be emceed by Tony Award winning actor Jonathan
Groff, who
lost his grandmother to Alzheimer’s disease. The
gala will be chaired by Linda
LaGorga,
Senior Vice President & Treasurer, Valeant Pharmaceuticals
International,
Inc. and Chapter
Board Member.
Kim Campbell, wife of
country star Glen Campbell, will be receiving the Chapter’s
2015 “Caregiver Award” for heightening awareness about the
challenges of caregiving in the extraordinary documentary
“Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me.”

Also
in attendance will be actors David
Hyde Pierce; Victor Garber; Marin Mazzie;
Jason
Danieley; Jill Eikenberry; Michael Tucker; Andy Kelso; and Sheila
Coyle; as well as New
York Giant Prince Amukamara and his wife Pilar Amukamara.
The evening will offer a
cocktail reception, silent and live auctions, and dinner
and dancing to Hank Lane
Music and Productions with Harris Lane, band leader.
