Partners, will be honored by the Louis Armstrong House
Museum for their dedication to preserving and promoting the
cultural legacy of Louis Armstrong at the Museum?s annual
gala on Wednesday,
December 2, 2015 at 6 p.m. cocktails; 7:00 p.m. awards
ceremony and dinner at Capitale: 130 Bowery, Manhattan. The
museum is celebrating the 100th anniversary
of Louis Armstrong's first professional gig with special
performance by Cyril Neville's band, Royal Southern
Brotherhood. Tickets are $300. The Louis Armstrong House
Museum, the long-time home of Louis and Lucille Armstrong,
is a National Historic Landmark and New York City Landmark
in Corona, Queens. It owns and administers the largest
research archives in the world for any jazz musician.
