Children at
its annual 'Roots
of Resilience' Gala
on Thursday,
September 10, 2015 at
the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City. Founded in 2001 to
promote long-term healing in individuals directly impacted
by the events of September 11th, Tuesday's
Children has since expanded to support victims of domestic
and international terrorism, as well as families of fallen
military service men and women.
Carolyn Rafaelian,
Founder and CEO, ALEX AND ANI, and Nicki
Maher, SVP of Community Engagement and Partnerships,
CHARITY BY DESIGN, will be honored for their unwavering
support and ongoing efforts to raise money and awareness for
Tuesday's Children's much-needed programs and services.
Award-winning rapper,
entrepreneur and actor, Curtis
'50 Cent' Jackson, whose artistic talents helped to
raise more than $150,000 for Tuesday's Children's programs,
will be presented with the 'Keep
the Promise' award
for his generous contributions to the organization.
The Gala will be chaired by Fred
Strobel, Vice Chair, Tuesday's Children Board of
Directors and Managing Director, U.S. Head of Human
Resources at Tradeweb, and Kelly
Green Grady, Tuesday's Children Board of Directors and
Chair of the Family Advisory Board.
