11TH ANNUAL DUCK PLUCK
Participants “Adopt” Rubber
Ducks for Raffle, All Proceeds Go Directly to Special
Olympics Athletes
WHAT: Post
Properties is
hosting the 11th Annual Duck
Pluck,
which benefits Special Olympics Georgia, at the Post
Chastain pool. Ducks can be purchased for $5 each, and each
donation goes to support athletes in the upcoming State Fall
Games. $5 will feed one athlete a meal, and $30 will provide
gold, silver and bronze medals for one competition.
Prize numbers will be assigned to each yellow rubber duck.
All ducks will be placed in the Post Chastain pool for a
swim before the five winning ducks are plucked. Star
94 will
emcee the event.
Prizes for the five ducks that are plucked
are a two-night stay at The King & Price resort on St.
Simons Island, Ga., a two-night cabin rental in Blue Ridge,
Ga., diamond hoop earrings, a $150 QuikTrip gift card and a
$100 Visa gift card. This event is open to the public.
