Singer and songwriter Grace Sewell is one of 2016’s freshest
success stories. The 19-year-old Brisbane native burst into
the public consciousness with her chart-topping debut single
“You Don’t Own Me,” which racked up nearly 50 million
Spotify plays. It also reached No. 1 in the UK and in
Australia, where it is certified triple-platinum.
CNCO is
Latin music’s newest phenomenon. Christopher
Vélez, Erick Brian Colón, Joel Pimentel, Richard Camacho and Zabdiel
de Jesús make
up this group that emerged from Univision’s musical
competition, La Banda. Their first single, Tan
Fácil, which launched towards the end of January 2016,
immediately gained the #1 position in iTunes only hours
after its release. Two months later, Tan Facil held the #1
slot in Billboard’s “Latin Airplay.”
AJR, three brothers born and raised in New York City, has
achieved a startling quick level of success with “I’m
Ready,” reaching over 18 million YouTube views, over 34
million Spotify streams, thousands of singles sold each
week, features in many major publications (including
Billboard and USA Today), triple platinum certification in
Australia, a feature in Amy Schumer’s “Trainwreck” trailer,
and heavy airplay on pop radio’s coveted SiriusXM “Hits 1.”
“The School’s Out Concert is the perfect way
to kick off the summer season at Luna Park,” said Alberto
Zamperla, President of Zamperla Group and operator of Luna
Park. “This concert celebration is just another way that we
strive to enhance the experience for our guests.”
