WHAT:
On
June 7th at
Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers, members of New York City’s
philanthropic, government,
legal, social justice and gender violence communities will
join forces with Sanctuary
for Families at
its annual “Zero
Tolerance Benefit” –
demanding an end to all forms of gender violence.
Celebrated for their efforts on the behalf of
gender violence victims will be Christopher
Eykyn, Co-founder of Eykyn Maclean and former Sanctuary
Board Member, who will receive the Zero
Tolerance Award for
his long standing commitment to Sanctuary’s mission, and Gibson,
Dunn & Crutcher LLP, which will receive the Law
Firm Leadership Award for
their tireless and effective pro bono work on behalf of
Sanctuary’s clients.
The gala will offer a cocktail reception,
exclusive raffle and silent auction, dinner and an
after-dinner dance party hosted by DJ
Grandmaster Flash, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee.
