Dorr LLP to be honored; Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee

WHAT: On
June 6th at
Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers, members of New York City’s
philanthropic, government,
legal, business and social justice communities will join
forces with Sanctuary
for Families at
its annual “Zero
Tolerance Benefit” –
demanding an end to all forms of gender violence.
Celebrated for his efforts on behalf of gender violence
victims will be William
Gorin, Senior Counsel, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton
LLP, and current Sanctuary Board President, who will receive
the Zero
Tolerance Award for
his unwavering support of Sanctuary over the past two
decades. WilmerHale will
receive the Law
Firm Leadership Award for
their nearly 10-year partnership with Sanctuary and for
extensive volunteer and legal pro bono work on behalf of
Sanctuary’s clients.
The gala will offer a cocktail reception, exclusive raffle
and silent auction, dinner and an after-dinner dance party
hosted by DJ
Grandmaster Flash, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee.
