The
Dream Ride Experience is more than just an
event; it is a movement of making dreams come
true.
The
Dream Ride Experience is a multi-day
extravaganza featuring Dream Ride, Dream Cruise,
Dream Concert, Dream Show featuring cars and
motorcycles, and Family Fun all benefiting a
worthy cause, Special Olympics and other
charities. The Dream Ride Experience is the
signature event of The Hometown Foundation, Inc.
Over the
years, The Dream Ride Experience has evolved
into a year-long community commitment to
celebrate the achievements of Special Olympics
athletes. The Experience honors these men,
women, and children living with intellectual
disabilities in our communities and highlights
their determination and willingness to
persevere, overcome challenges, and shatter
stereotypes. The Dream Ride Experience advocates
for inclusion and building friendships amongst
not only the athletes, but also the
participants.
Thousands of motorcyclists and hundreds of
engine enthusiasts venture to Farmington,
Connecticut, all with the same goal of
supporting Special Olympics and other charities.
Participants have journeyed from across the
United States and internationally to be a part
of the dream. It is with their passion, that The
Dream Ride Experience is a lasting, and growing
event! Special Olympics athletes worldwide are
given the opportunity to attend The Dream Ride
Experience and treasure this lifelong memory.
Many athletes make the trip not knowing what the
weekend will hold; however, it’s fair to say
this is where dreams come true!
The
Dream Ride Experience has evolved into more than
just a motorcycle ride and car show. The event
also features a pet adoption center, delicious
food, live entertainment and music, , vendors,
raffles, family fun, and so much more.
The
Dream Ride Experience is proud to say that
proceeds from the event are donated back to
Special Olympics and other charities. In 2017,
The Dream Ride Experience raised a record
breaking amount of $1.55 million dollars for
Special Olympics! To date, we are proud to
announce that we’ve donated over $7.7 million to
help Special Olympics! The Dream Ride Experience
can continue to make dreams come true with the
help of all the generous participants, sponsors,
and donors.
Dream Ride
Car Show
Located at
the Farmington Polo Club, Dream Show is the
largest show benefiting Special Olympics and
other charities. The Dream Show has expanded and
now features a motorcycle and car show. Hundreds
of motorcycles and exotic, vintage, and classic
cars converge in Farmington, CT for this
one-of-a-kind show.
