WALK FOR 1 IN 100 COMING TO NEW YORK CITY, OCTOBER 6
WHAT:
To support, honor and remember the millions of children,
adults and families impacted by congenital heart disease (CHD),
the 2019 New York City Walk for 1 in 100 will be held at Denny
Farrell Riverbank State Park on Sunday, October 6,
2019, starting at 9 a.m. We anticipate 300 attendees at this
event. Interviews with CHD patients, medical providers and
ACHA representatives available upon request.

WHY:
The Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA) hosts the Walk
for 1 in 100 series to raise money for outreach, education,
research and more. These walks throughout the country were
created to empower all of those who were born with a heart
defect, their loved ones, and the medical community that
cares for them.
