Paulette "Tinkerbell" Pfeiffer's vision behind Silent
Victims of Crime is to break the Intergenerational Cycle
of Incarceration. Its mission is to assist children of
inmates by enhancing their ability to improve their
economic, educational and personal stability while
addressing behavioral, social, and mental Issues. The
organization helps these at-risk children to deal with
life challenges in a positive, proactive manner that
empowers them to make wise choices and contribute
positively to society. Nationwide, over 40% of the
children of inmates statistically end up in prison.
Since its inception 16 years ago, the SVC Program has
had no children of inmates incarcerated and many have
