THE BLUE BIRD CIRCLE TO HOST
100TH ANNIVERSARY GALA CELEBRATION
HOUSTON, TEXAS – The Blue Bird Circle
announced today that, in anticipation of their 100th
anniversary, they are planning a wonderful gala
celebration. The event is planned for March 11, 2023 at
6:30 pm and is being held at The Ballroom at Bayou
Place. Chairing this year’s event is long-time Blue Bird
volunteer, Sarah Burchfield and is honoring Texas Children’s
Hospital Dr. dHuda Zoghbi for her extensive and
life-changing research with pediatric neurological
disorders. In addition to extensive live and silent
auctions, the gala will have delicious fare and dancing to
the tunes of the Grooves Band. “We are all so excited to be
celebrating our 100th anniversary and feel this
gala will be a wonderful way, not only to celebrate, but to
honor the amazing work of Dr. Zoghbi.” Said Abigail Tonry,
President of The Blue Bird Circle, who went on to say “As
Houston’s oldest all women volunteer organization, we have
always been totally committed to fund research in pediatric
neurology and Dr. Zoghbi is one of the world’s leading
neurological researchers.”
